- ABAX is one of the largest IoT companies with solutions for mileage claim, tool tracking, and equipment control with over 500.000 tracked units all over the world. - Who is Connected Cars
- Connected Cars is currently owned by the Volkswagen Group importer Semler, and has developed an established solution that enables car importers and dealers to increase their loyalty and revenue. Connected Cars is the developer behind MinVolkswagen Fleet among other apps and solutions. โCCโ is the preferred aftermarket loyalty solution for authorised dealers to connect with their customers and help them with their vehicle health.
- What is the ABAX and Connected Cars partnership about?
- Fleet management is at the core of ABAX solutionsโ offering and we strive to continue helping our customers run their businesses smarter and healthier, making it easier to improve efficiency, comply with legislation, and increase profitability now and in the future. Connected Cars, on the other hand, will continue capturing and providing state-of-the-art vehicle data as well as enhancing their solution for vehicle dealers. Bringing ABAX and Connected Cars together provides the best of both worlds to the benefit of customers on both sides.

- What will happen to the Fleet solution I am using today? Can I use the same log-in?
- Nothing. You will use the same Connected Cars Fleet solution as is and log-in with the same credentials as you are used to.

- Will this require me to change the device I have installed in my car?
- No, that can remain.
- How does this affect the processing of my data?
- Connected Cars will continue processing the data as they do today. When ABAX wants to process your data they will ask for your consent first.
- Will my current price or invoice counterparty change?
- No, youโll pay the same price as you do today and continue to pay to Connected Cars.
- What additional / other functionalities could ABAX offer me?
- Connected Cars and ABAX will work together to extend the offering in the future. Functionalities popular for customers are currently:
- Geofencing
- Notifications (on for example a trip without a driver, loss of power on the hardware device)
- Insight into idling
- Extensive reporting (like environmental / CO2 and trip reports)
- Compliance with the Danish tax legislation
- Driver identification
