The next workshop booking can start before a customer picks up the phone. A timely offer gives them a reason to act: their car is approaching service, and the workshop has a convenient appointment available.
Predicted service in ConnectedWorkshop shows upcoming service demand up to a year ahead. Advisors can use it to identify customers to contact and find jobs worth combining. Managers can see potential demand before it reaches the booking calendar.
Find the customers to contact next
Once a car moves beyond its warranty, a timely service offer gives the customer a reason to return to the dealership. For the advisor, the practical question is which customers to contact first.
Predicted service groups vehicles by age and displays demand by week or month. Teams can focus their outreach on older cars approaching service.

The timing reflects how each car is used. Connected Cars estimates service dates using the vehicleโs service counters and the distance it travels over a recent 14-day period. Two customers who last visited on the same day may therefore need their next service at very different times.
Predicted dates can shift as driving patterns change. Use them to time outreach, then check current vehicle information before proposing an appointment.
Offer fewer trips to the workshop
When two jobs are approaching at nearly the same time, combining them can save the customer another visit.
Predicted service flags potential bundles and shows the number of days between jobs. In the example below, 127 vehicles have a bundle opportunity. An advisor can review the gap and, where service requirements allow, offer one appointment covering both jobs.
The customer has a clear reason to book: both jobs can be handled in one visit, reducing the interruption to their week.

Plan for the service mix
To plan ahead, workshops need to know how many jobs are coming up and what work they involve. Filtering by fuel type helps teams see that mix. Selecting EVs, for example, shows inspections without oil changes.

Workshop staff can use the forecast to assess likely demand for technician time and parts, then compare it with available appointments.
Entering the workshopโs own prices adds estimated revenue to the view. Until prices are entered, it shows volume only. That estimate helps managers assess the opportunity, while recognising that the final invoice depends on what customers book and the work carried out.
Make outreach a weekly routine
Click a week in the chart to filter the vehicle list. Review the vehicles approaching service and check their current information against existing bookings. Where a suitable bundle is available, include it in the appointment offer.
Record customer responses through the teamโs usual process and assign responsibility for follow-up calls before finishing the review.
Choose a period the workshop can act on. Next month may be useful for customer calls, while the longer view can support planning further ahead.

A service reminder gives the customer a prompt. An offer with a suitable appointment makes it easier to respond, especially when one visit can cover two approaching jobs.
Predicted service brings those opportunities into view. The workshop turns them into bookings.
